I’ve been dreaming my whole life. At 50 I still can’t get enough comics, films, TV or books (I have a very patient husband). I’ve been a superhero fan since I was 6, and grew up with Miller, Byrne, Claremont, Sienkiewicz, Perez and all of the 80s greats. I’m no less a fan now, madly in love with Hulkling and Wiccan of course! I love the cinema, from Almodovar to the MCU to Love, Simon, and I have more TV shows to keep up with than I can count: Dark (the best thing ever), Umbrella Academy, Star Trek, Dr Who, Succession, Westworld, Watchmen. If my eyes weren’t 50 years old I’d watch far more. I’m reading gay books right now, most recently One of Them by Michael Cashman and How We Fight For Our Lives by Saeed Jones. At least when my cat graciously gives me the space!

This blog will focus on: comics, books, food and politics. Hopefully Covid-19 will let me get back to travelling before long and I’ll have something to write about. The husband and I have a great love of cruises, the Pacific Northwest, Sweden and Scotland (in no particular order), but for now we’re obviously staying much closer to home.
